Golf Day Saltford Friday 10th October 2008

Redland Golf Society -- for members of Bristol Lawn Tennis & Squash Club and Friends - is pleased to announce it's Autumn Event is to be held at Saltford Golf Club, Golf Course Lane, Saltford. First tee will be at 1.00pm, so best to arrive around 12.30pm, price of £40 includes 18 hole stableford, dinner (roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, followed by apple pie with custard or ice cream), with generous prizes. Further prizes may be donated. If anyone would like to donate a cup or shield of an appropriately high quality that would be particularly well appreciated.

As usual there are dress regulations specified; proper golfing clothes and footwear MUST be worn at all times; men - tailored shorts of a reasonable length and sports socks; women - tailored shorts (not specified whether or not these should be of a reasonable length) and sports socks; shirts MUST be tucked into trousers, trousers MUST NOT be tucked into socks. Clubhouse - smart casual must be worn at all times; shirts must be tucked into trousers; collarless shirts and tracksuits are NOT allowed at anytime either on the course or in the clubhouse; jeans are not accepted but smart trainers are now allowed (ed.
